S&M Prompt Rubbish Removal Service was started by Salvatore and Marylou Mancuso in 1972.

Beginning with a single rack truck and one employee, S & M would handle small clean-ups and tire removal. Within a couple of years, S & M grew to purchase its first roll-off truck and a few containers. Through hard work, S & M continued to grow throughout the 80s and 90s.

Currently, S&M has a dozen trucks that are fully licensed with NYS D.E.C. Waste Transporter, as well as the N.Y.C. Business Integrity licenses, servicing Long Island and the five boroughs. We have a fully licensed transfer station that accepts construction debris and waste tires. Our machinery fleet consists of various-sized excavators, as well as numerous styles of dozers, skid steers, and pay loaders.
